Matt Braunger Returns with Third Stand-Up Special, Finally Live In Portland

Matt Braunger is back with his third comedy special, Finally Live In Portland, set for release on Feb. 5.

Braunger, a comedian and actor (NBC’s Up All Night, Marvel’s Agent Carter), returned to his hometown of Portland for the special, filming at The Paris over two nights during the 10th Bridgetown Comedy Festival.

“This is my best special yet, and I got to shoot it in my hometown in front of my parents and embarrass them as a bonus. All the stories are true, from the dumb tattoo I got at 19 to the butt surgery to the overindulgence in magic mushrooms with my now-wife,” said Braunger in a statement. “FLIP basically represents two things, 1) 18 years of me doing comedy, and 2) how much I haven’t grown in that time.”

In the special, the comedian explores topics such as “naked old men, drunk Nazis, minor anal surgery [and] Girl Scouts (aka the Green Mafia),” per a press release.

The special will be released via Comedy Dynamics on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Microsoft, Steam, Vimeo and major cable providers. Check out the trailer below and revisit Paste’s 2015 interview with the comedian.
