David Cross, Tig Notaro and More Join Lineup for 2018 Moontower Comedy Festival

The remainder of the lineup for the seventh year of the Moontower Comedy Festival has been revealed. The festival takes place April 18-21 in Austin, Texas.

Moontower, which has presented shows by comics from Patton Oswalt to Margaret Cho, is welcoming several new additions to the headliner lineup to round out what’s shaping up to be one of the festival’s biggest years to date, per their announcement. Tig Notaro, well known for her recently axed Amazon series One Mississippi, her Netflix documentary Tig and her HBO special Boyish Girl Interrupted, is now on the roster along with David Cross, well known for his role on Arrested Development, and Jo Koy, as seen on Netflix and Comedy Central.

Also recently added to the Stateside lineup is Nikki Glaser, stand-up comic and host of the new Sirius XM morning show You Up with Nikki Glaser. She has also appeared on Comedy Central’s @midnight, Inside Amy Schumer, The Roast of Rob Lowe and more. Also new to the Stateside headliner lineup is Houston-based Ali Siddiq, who employs an original style of stand-up that took shape while he was behind prison walls, and Shmanners, a podcast hosted by Travis and Teresa McElroy, in which the husband and wife duo will give Austin audiences a lesson in etiquette.

Every performer announced today joins the previously released comedy lineup, which includes headliners Tiffany Haddish, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Mike Birbiglia, Janeane Garofalo, Colin Quinn, Ryan Hamilton and Preacher Lawson. Among the hilarious group of comedians playing this year’s Moontower Satellite Venues are Kevin Barnett, Kurt Braunohler, SNL writers Sam Jay and Julio Torres, Jackie Kashian, Andy Kindler, Emily Heller, The Sklar Brothers, Jon Rudnitsky, Kurt Metzger, Tom Rhodes, Judah Friedlander and many more.
