Norm Macdonald Has a Trailer for Norm Macdonald has a Show

Were you aware that Norm Macdonald has a new show? Well, he does. The veteran comedian and former SNL stalwart will bring Norm Macdonald Has a Show to Netflix, with a full 10-episode slate dropping on Friday, Sept. 14. Today we got a first glimpse at the show’s trailer, and the array of guest stars that Macdonald was able to assemble for his interview segments is really pretty impressive. They include the varied likes of Drew Barrymore, David Spade, Judge Judy, David Letterman, Jane Fonda, Chevy Chase, M. Night Shyamalan, Michael Keaton, Billy Joe Shaver and Lorne Michaels. Macdonald will be interviewing all of them, with the help of actor Adam Eget, described in the press release as Macdonald’s “trusty sidekick.” Is he also a personal troubadour? I suppose we’ll have to wait and see.

Macdonald is hosting, executive producing and co-showrunning the series, which looks pretty stripped down and to the point, with an extremely minimal set that just amounts to the host, co-host and guest sitting at the same long desk, pounding cans of Red Bull all the while. We have to admit that we’re looking forward to the M. Night Shyamalan episode in particular, if only so we can watch Macdonald grill the resurgent director about such conundrums as the ending to Signs or everything that happened on the set of The Happening.

Norm Macdonald has a Show hits Netflix a week from today. Check out the trailer below.
