Phoebe Robinson Is Getting a New Interview-Based Show at Comedy Central

Phoebe Robinson, one half of the hysterical podcast-turned-HBO show 2 Dope Queens, is expanding her comedic empire. Comedy Central announced that they’ve ordered a new unscripted, interview-focused series from the comedian.

Per a press release, Robinson “will create experiences with her guests that take us into their world and out of her comfort zone,” in the still-unnamed show. It will “feature one-on-one interviews and unique experiences with pop culture luminaries” that Phoebe describes as hitting “that sweet spot between educational and charmingly ignorant.”

10 episodes of the series have been ordered so far, and they’ll be a half-hour each. It’ll be the first project from Robinson’s newly formed production company, Tiny Reparations, and will be produced alongside Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee’s Michael Davies. No word as to when we can expect the show to air, but be sure to stay tuned to Paste for more in the future. In the meantime, check out what we thought of Robinson’s past TV efforts here.
