Samantha Bee has never been one to put things lightly—probably why her show is called Full Frontal—and the Brexit vote did not escape her acidic scrutiny. Bee broke down Britain’s vote to leave the E.U. on her show last night, showing clips of citizens saying that they really did not believe the majority would vote to leave. She pointed out that if it can happen there, it can happen here, of course in reference to Donald Trump.
Our, ahem, favorite Republican visited Scotland on Friday, and showed off how well-informed he was by tweeting: “Just arrived in Scotland. Place is going wild over the vote. They took their country back, just like we will take America back. No games!” He failed to recognize that Scotland overwhelmingly voted to stay, and the Twitter replies were too delightfully, insultingly Scottish to ignore. Bee called on a real Scot—and beloved doctor—to read the tweets, David Tennant.
