Here’s the Obligatory Saturday Night Live Sketch about the Democratic Debate in New Hampshire

Last week was a bad one for this here country of ours. The Iowa caucuses collapsed into a nonsensical pile of bullshit that pretty much everybody thinks was rigged, Donald Trump was acquitted in his impeachment trial by a Republican party full of spineless bootlickers, and, worst of all, Saturday Night Live is still around to do sketches about all of this.

This past weekend’s episode opened with the standard post-debate sketch, this time riffing on the Democratic debate which was held in New Hampshire last Friday. If you like seeing recognizable faces buried beneath wigs and makeup while performing theoretical comedy about our current political mess, have at it. At least Larry David was there, and his Bernie Sanders is still pretty consistently funny. And Jason Sudeikis has reclaimed the Joe Biden impression from Woody Harrelson, who just wasn’t as smooth at capturing Biden’s creepy boomer boisterousness as Sudeikis. Hey, at least we don’t have to see the very talented Maya Rudolph deliver any more of those terrible “fun aunt” jokes now that Kamala Harris has dropped out.

Check it out below, if, for whatever reason, you want to. And Saturday Night Live still airs on NBC on various Saturday nights at 11:30 p.m.
