SF Sketchfest Announces 2017 Lineup Including Tim and Eric, Chelsea Peretti, Patton Oswalt, So Many More

SF Sketchfest, the annual San Francisco comedy festival, just announced its lineup for 2017, and it is massive. The festival will feature more than 200 shows in 17 days across 20 locations from 700 performers including The Kids in the Hall, Megan Mullally, Fred Willard, Christopher Guest, Tim and Eric, Jeff Goldblum, Jon Hamm, Mike Judge, John Landis, Rachel Dratch, Patton Oswalt, Natasha Leggero, Chris Hardwick, Phoebe Robinson, Chelsea Peretti, Wyatt Cenac, Tony Hale and way, way more.

Audible will be bringing live shows of its definitely-not-podcasts to the festival including Hold On with Eugene Mirman, The Guest List, Timothy McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, Fresh Voice of Stand-Up and others.

Also of note is “Soundtracks Live,” a show sponsored by the nonprofit writing center 826 Valencia that will feature scenes and music from “a classic 1980s teen comedy” as done by a number of Wet Hot American Summer alums including, Michael Ian Black, Beth Dover, Joe Lo Truglio, Marisa Ryan, Michael Showalter and David Wain, along with comedians Matt Ballard, Chelsea Peretti and Bobby Tisdale.

Other shows of note include a live reading of a King of the Hill episode by the cast, a live reading of by The Kids in the Hall of their movie Brain Candy, a screening of The Kentucky Fried Movie with John Landis, Jim Abrahams, David Zucker and Jerry Zucker, a screening of Kung Pow: Enter the Fist with Steve Oedekerk, a performance by Jeff Goldblum with his band The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, a live show of Judge John Hodgman and so much more.

SF Sketchfest will run from Jan. 12-29. Tickets go on sale on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 1 p.m., with prices ranging from $15 to $75. You can see the full lineup and buy tickets at the fest’s website here. Watch a teaser for the festival below.
