The SNL Cast Try to Talk Chadwick Boseman Into Sharing His Vibranium in New Promo

As Black Panther viewers well know, vibranium is an incredibly versatile and valuable resource within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Kate McKinnon, Alex Moffat and Kenan Thompson know it, too, as evidenced by a new Saturday Night Live promo in which the scheming cast members try to talk T’Challa himself, Chadwick Boseman, into sharing the wealth.

Boseman, set to host SNL for the first time this week, is forced to remind McKinnon, Moffat and Thompson repeatedly that vibranium is fictional, and therefore will be of no use to them in opening the Studio 8H doors that they locked in order to perpetrate their silly ruse. Thompson, “the key keeper,” gives up the game, only to realize he doesn’t have the key he needs, leading the decidedly unimpressed Black Panther to turn tail and head back to L.A.
