SNL‘s Pete Davidson Gets Comedy Central Stand-up Special

Comedy News

Saturday Night Live’s youngest cast member Pete Davidson will perform two sold-out stand-up shows at the Skirball Center in New York City next weekend, and Comedy Central will be there to shoot them. The resulting hourlong special, “Pete Davidson: SMD,” will be Davidson’s first stand-up special and is scheduled to premiere in the fall of 2016.

Davidson, who is just 21 years old, has previously been featured on the Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber, Adam Devine’s House Party and Comedy Underground with Dave Attell; he also made a cameo in Judd Apatow and Amy Schumer’s Trainwreck. Variety named Davidson a comic to watch in 2014—now we’ll be able to watch him on Comedy Central.
