Amy Poehler-Produced Three Busy Debras Gets Series Order from Adult Swim

Adult Swim has officially locked in the 15-minute comedy series Three Busy Debras with a series order, a year after they ordered the pilot.
The series from Amy Poehler’s Paper Kite Productions was created and written by its busy stars, Sandy Honig, Mitra Jouhari and Alyssa Stonoha. The comedy about three deranged housewives in suburban Connecticut is directed by Anna Dokoza, with Poehler and Kim Lessing executive producing through Paper Kite.
“Paper Kite is thrilled to help amplify the bold and bloody voices of the Three Busy Debras,” said Poehler in a statement accompanying the show’s May 2018 pilot order. “We hope this show makes you feel strange in all the right ways.”
The first season will go into production later this year.
