Netflix Announces New Stand-up Comedy Series Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready

Tiffany Haddish, already a Netflix darling, has just announced her new comedy stand-up series on the streaming platform, Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready. The Push It Productions series will feature six comedians in their own half-hour specials, putting women, people of color and LGBTQ performers front and center.

“I am introducing six of my favorite comedians—in my eyes, they are super stars. The epitome of They Ready,” Haddish explains in a statement. She has connections to each of them through working together in stand-up or TV, and is undertaking executive producing duties on the show along with Wanda Sykes and Page Hurwitz.

And who are these half-dozen rising stars? The comedians featured include Chaunté Wayans (Wild n’ Out, 50 Shades of Black), April Macie (Last Comic Standing, Dave Attell’s Comedy Underground, Snoop Dogg’s: Bad Girls of Comedy, Jenny McCarthy’s Dirty Sexy Funny), Tracey Ashley (Last Comic Standing, The Last O.G.), Aida Rodriguez (Last Comic Standing, The Comedian, Comedy Central’s This Week at the Comedy Cellar, The Young Turks), Flame Monroe (Def Comedy Jam) and Marlo Williams (BET’s Comicview).
