Blake Shelton was both the host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live last night, so obviously the show set its satirical spotlight on country music. The absurd “Wishin’ Boot” is a pitch-perfect parody of modern country music, from the storytelling music video to the hair on Kate McKinnon’s head. Modern country music is so ridiculous that it’s hard to make fun of, but SNL does a great job in this video.
