Any family business inheritor will confirm that keeping the family business alive comes with its own pressures, and that probably goes double when the task at hand involves world-wide destruction. That’s the case in Welcome to Showside, the Z2 comic and new animated short from Adventure Time and Munchkin contributor Ian McGinty. The cartoon follows Kit, a pretty adorable kid under some dark pressure from his father, The Great Shadow King. McGinty wrote the script and also voices the beleaguered youth.
Take a look at the short below, which gets some voice-acting help from Henry Rollins. McGinty’s corresponding comic series, which is published via Z2 comics, is available now.
