The Alien Invasion Continues in Lifeformed: Hearts and Minds

Dark Horse Comics has one of the most varied publishing slates in town, from manga imports like I Am a Hero and Berserk to hefty video-game art books to a bountiful line of coloring books—not to mention licenses like God of War and Starcraft and major original properties including Hellboy and Umbrella Academy. The Oregon-based publisher also has a sizable Young Adult presence exemplified by Lifeformed, an alien-invasion graphic-novel series from creators Matt Mair Lowery and Cassie Anderson.

Lifeformed follows Cleo, a teenaged girl left orphaned during an alien invasion. In the upcoming second installment, Cleo must team up with Alex, a shapeshifting alien rebel posing as her father, to continue the guerilla war against the occupying extraterrestrials.
