Thanks to icons like Jaden Smith and Miley Cyrus wearing pretty much anything they damn-well please—as they should—the latest trend in the fashion industry is gender-neutral clothing, and a lot of designers and brands are jumping on the bandwagon. Everything from established brands to underground suppliers are going unisex. Here’s where to get your gender-neutral clothing.

1. Ungendered

Whether you want a hoodie or a pair of comfy jeans, Zara’s new unisex line Ungendered has got you covered. The wardrobe staples in neutral colors are made of comfy cottons and cotton blends.

2. NotEqual

“Genderless form and individuality exemplify NotEqual. Our ambition is to push boundaries while offering rational fashion.” That pretty much sums up this made-to-order brand with creatively designed tunics, wrap skirts and quilted coats using bright colors and unique cuts.

3. Muttonhead

Whatever your gender, you can find quality trousers, backpacks and t-shirts on Muttonhead’s website or at one of their stockists. They also have sections for accessories and grooming, and even make unisex lube.

4. TILLYandWILLIAM

Think American Apparel with no gender sections and you’ve got TILLYandWILLIAM. Not only are their clothes multisex, but they’re also multifunctional. The Upsidowner can be worn as a pair of pants, a dress, a shirt or a jumpsuit, and the wavelight miniTWIRLER can be worn as a tank top, crop top, hood or skirt. You get the picture. The website features models pushing boundaries with women flashing unshaven armpits and men in super-high platform shoes.

5. Nicopanda

Diesel designer Nicola Formichetti drew inspiration from Hello Kitty, Disney characters and various Japanese cartoons to form his own line, Nicopanda. The line is made of mostly pink and black, and features deconstructed-looking sweatpants, overalls, b-ball shorts and denim jackets, all with unique details of their own like dangling ruffles or braids.
