King of the Hill‘s Intro Gets Perfect Pixel Art Recreation

Mauri Helme, a Brazilian pixel artist and game designer, has turned the residents of Arlen, Texas, into pixel-perfect versions of themselves. Helme has recreated the King of the Hill intro in lovely pixel art, with an appropriate 8-bit version of the theme music, and even added a little extra bit at the end to show off some characters who don’t appear during the series’ opening theme.

Helme’s work is pretty dead-on, but, in terms of scope, it still pales in comparison to the entirety of Blade Runner being recreated in Microsoft Paint. Watch Helme’s video embedded above.
