The odds being ever in our favor will soon be coming to a close as The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 releases its first trailer.
Based on the bestselling book series by Suzanne Collins, this final installment of the blockbuster franchise will be taking place during the second half of the last book of the trilogy, Mockingjay.
From what the trailer shows us, it looks like we’ll get to see some thrilling battles as the twelve Districts band together to take down the Capitol. We see all the familiar faces from previous films as well as a new one (Is that Game of Thrones’ Gwendoline Christie we see at 0:49?).
The previous installment, Mockingjay Part 1, wasn’t nearly as exciting as the first two films in the series, but Part 2 seems to be making up for that. We’ll just have to wait and see what kind of final ride we’re in for when Katniss Everdeen picks up her bow for the last time.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 will be released Nov. 20.
