We can all agree that 2025 so far has been anything but boring. Same goes for this slate of podcasts. True crime, wrongful convictions, political unrest, gambling, mysteries at sea and the Sex And The City—these series have been making my ears burn in the best way. Add these to your library and you won’t be disappointed.

Deadly Fortune

Tex McIver and his wife Diane seemed to have it all. He was a prominent Atlanta lawyer and she was a wildly successful businesswoman. When Diane was shot by Tex on a seemingly normal drive home, the twisted saga began. Local politics and family inheritance are intertwined into a night that went horribly wrong. Dale Cardwell, a journalist and friend of the McIver’s, reports with first-hand conflicting accounts from both sides.

Kaitlyn’s Baby

Kaitylyn Braun claims she was raped and turns to online doulas to help her deliver her baby. She enlists these pregnancy caregivers to get her through what appears to be the darkest moment of her life. But of course, nothing is what it seems.
