Get Your Blood Pumping With the Trailer for A24’s A Prayer Before Dawn

The trailer for A Prayer Before Dawn is here, and watching it might just make you want to go punch something.

The film stars Joe Cole (Peaky Blinders) as boxer Billy Moore, who finds himself incarcerated in Thailand. He figures out a way to continue boxing while in prison, using Muay Thai instead of traditional Western boxing. According to Deadline, director Jean-Stephane Sauvaire shot the film in a real Thai prison, with actual inmates filling out most of the supporting roles.

A ferocious authenticity certainly comes through in the trailer—the action is intense and exhilarating just in those two minutes. And considering A24 is behind it, the final film should be a treat for all you action junkies out there.

A Prayer Before Dawn premiered at Cannes in May, and currently is set for a 2018 release.
