Giveaway: Win Thomas Newman’s Oscar-Nominated American Beauty Score on Vinyl!

Time for another giveaway! Paste is teaming up with Real Gone Music for the release of the American Beauty Motion Picture Score, coming to vinyl for the first time. One lucky reader will have the chance to score this work of art.

Composer Thomas Newman has 14 Academy Awards, seven Grammys and an Emmy award under his belt, and it’s no wonder why. Perhaps his most distinctive piece of work, the American Beauty score’s LP form features striking gatefold packaging from illustrator Matt Ryan Tobin, which recreates the creepy, voyeuristic video camera lens of the 1999 film’s character Ricky Fitts (Wes Bentley). The red and black “Haze” vinyl inside is also a visual treat, complete with a crimson rose right in the center.
