Rami Malek to Star as Undercover Agent in Film from Mr. Robot Creator Sam Esmail

Rami Malek will reteam with Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail for an adaptation of the book America Radical: Inside the World of an Undercover Muslim FBI Agent, per Deadline.
Esmail will direct and produce the picture at Universal. Along with starring, Malek will also produce alongside another Mr. Robot producer, Chad Hamilton. The film will be based on the life of the book’s author, Tamer Elnoury, a Muslim undercover agent who joined the counter-terrorism unit following 9/11.
As the duo has already found success with the first three seasons of Mr. Robot—and surely the fourth season that is on its way—the forthcoming feature is definitely something we’ll keep on our radar.
