Ant-Man and the Wasp Are Up Next: New Poster Today, New Trailer Tomorrow
Image via Marvel/YouTubeOn Monday, Ant-Man star Evangeline Lilly unveiled the new poster for director Peyton Reed’s forthcoming installment in the MCU, Ant-Man and the Wasp. Lilly also shared that the film will receive its first full-length trailer tomorrow, Tuesday, May 1, catching viewers up on where Ant-Man was during the events of Avengers: Infinity War.
Ant-Man and the Wasp, according to its official synopsis, begins “in the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War, [as] Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to re-balance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.”
Starring Paul Rudd reprising his role as Ant-Man from the hero’s first film, Captain America: Civil War and the most recent Infinity War, the film also stars Lilly as The Wasp, Walton Goggins (Tomb Raider), Hannah John-Kamen (Ready Player One), Michael Peña (End of Watch), Lawrence Fishburne, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer and Judy Greer.
Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers (Spider-Man: Homecoming) co-wrote the film with newcomers Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari, alongside star Rudd, with Marvel’s Kevin Feige producing.
