Avengers: Endgame Leaves 24-Hour Ticket Presale Records in the Dust

Avengers: Endgame ticket presales have surpassed the 24-hour record in a mere six hours, and are in turn snapping theater ticketing website servers into oblivion.

Advance tickets for Endgame went on sale today, April 2, at 8 am ET, and many who flew to theater ticketing sites such as Fandango, AMC Theaters and Regal Theaters experienced crashes and error messages due to the websites’ overwhelmingly high traffic.

Ticket sales have already surpassed those of the previous record-holder Star Wars: The Force Awakens, in addition to doubling the collective first-week sales for the Marvel franchise’s previous chapter Infinity War, according to Deadline.
