Baby Driver Is Headed To Theaters Sooner Than Anyone Expected
Photo by Wilson WebbAfter premiering at SXSW to rave reviews, Edgar Wright’s new film Baby Driver will be headed to theaters six weeks sooner than we expected. Sony has moved the release date from Aug. 11 to June 28, which is just about the best news ever.
Baby Driver holds a 100 percent on Rotten Tomatoes as of this writing, and while this isn’t a huge sample of reviews yet, it bodes quite well for the film. Baby Driver also boasts what is probably one of the better ensemble casts of the year, starring Ansel Elgort, Kevin Spacey, Jamie Foxx, Lily James, Jon Hamm, Jon Bernthal and Flea, of all people. And it’s a heist movie, too? Man, this is great.
Baby Driver will hit theaters on June 28. Check out the crazy trailer here, and find Edgar Wright’s announcement tweet embedded below.
