Beatles fans can retire their old VHS versions of Magical Mystery Tour because the Beatles are releasing a restored version of the film on DVD and Blu-ray this October.
For the ultimate Beatles fan, a deluxe box set will also be available. According to Rolling Stone the box set includes a 60-page book and a reproduction of the mono double seven-inch vinyl EP that was originally released with the film in 1967. The EP will have the six featured songs from the film: “Magical Mystery Tour,” “The Fool On The Hill,” “I Am The Walrus,” “Flying,” “Blue Jay Way” and “Your Mother Should Know.”
