John David Washington to Star in Christopher Nolan's New Movie

BlacKkKlansman’s John David Washington will lead the new movie from Christopher Nolan, as Variety reports.

This is only the second concrete reveal of any kind about the much-anticipated film, which has no title, nor synopsis—only a release date, and now, an Oscar-nominated lead.

Naturally, the news of Washington’s casting arrives devoid of any further details—we know nothing about the actor’s character, nor the plot in which he’ll play a central part.

Variety sources deny recent rumors that the Warner Bros. film is a romantic thriller a la Alfred Hitchcock’s North by Northwest, with one “insider” saying instead that it’s “a massive, innovative, action blockbuster.”
