See the Fantastic Beasts 2 Trailer Tease

The highly anticipated Fantastic Beasts 2, subtitled The Crimes of Grindelwald, has received its first trailer tease today. The film follows Newt Scamander (Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne) on another adventure, taking place after the first film, in which the powerful dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Oscar nominee Johnny Depp) was captured by MACUSA, aka the Magical Congress of the United States of America. Grindelwald, of course, has escaped his imprisonment and is out gathering followers to help his cause, raising pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings. In order to stop Grindelwald’s ill advances, a young Albus Dumbledore (Oscar nominee Jude Law) enlists the help of his former student, Newt Scamander.

The film also sees Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Camen Ejogo, Ezra Miller and Dan Fogler returning, with Zoe Kravitz joining the cast as a member of the Lestrange family. David Yates returns to direct, as well. The film arrives in theaters on Nov. 16.
