First Trailer for The Program Released About Lance Armstrong’s Fall from Grace

The Program is a Lance Armstrong biopic that will star Ben Foster as Armstrong and Chris O’Dowd, playing Irish sports journalist David Walsh who investigated Armstrong’s doping. The film is based on Walsh’s 2012 bestseller, Seven Deadly Sins: My Pursuit of Lance Armstrong.

Walsh spent 13 years trying to uncover the truth behind Armstrong’s cheating, which eventually paid off and Walsh was vindicated as Armstrong was stripped of his seven Tour titles and banned from cycling for life.

A U.S. release date hasn’t been announced yet for the film.
