Watch the Emotionally Devastating New Clip of Margot Robbie in I, Tonya

Wow. Okay.

Uh, that was the new clip from Craig Gillespie’s Tonya Harding biopic I, Tonya. There isn’t too much to say about it, as the clip itself contains no words. It’s just Margot Robbie as Harding staring into a mirror, applying makeup and trying to put on a brave face. It is incredibly affecting.

No context is offered. Those of us who haven’t seen the film have no idea what precedes this, though we can probably guess that she’s preparing to skate soon after. The buzz for this movie is very strong, and if it builds up to emotional moments like these, it will be justified.
