It: Chapter One followed the first half of Stephen King’s widely known novel and the sequel, It: Chapter Two, will follow the latter half, in which the Losers return to their hometown as adults to battle Pennywise one last time.

It was a runaway commercial success, taking in over $700 million worldwide. It was directed by Andy Muschietti and he is set to direct the sequel from a script penned by Gary Dauberman.

Production on It: Chapter Two is set to start this summer and the film will make its way to theaters on Sept. 6, 2019.
