Jurassic World 2 Gets a Title and Poster
Image via Universal PicturesAfter months of speculation, the sequel to 2015’s record-breaking Jurassic World finally has a name. And no, it’s not The Return of the Goldblum. The forthcoming film will be titled Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
The strange title reveals virtually nothing. Maybe there’s an island where natives worship T-Rex like a god, sort of like in Kong: Skull Island. Only time and a $15 movie ticket will tell.
Paired with this announcement is a sweet poster with the classic Jurassic tagline, “Life Finds A Way.” The tag is an obvious reference to Jeff Goldblum’s Ian Malcom, who will return for the sequel to the fourth highest-grossing film of all time.
Whether director J.A. Bayona can conjure up that sort of box-office magic for a second time remains to be seen, but if Jurassic World helmer Colin Trevorrow’s recent comments are any indication, we’re in for quite a ride.
Look for the film one year from today on June 22, 2018, and check out the full poster below.
