Justin Timberlake, Juno Temple Join Cast of Woody Allen’s Newest Film
Photos by Rob Kim, Nicholas Hunt/GettyJustin Timberlake continues to establish himself as an A-list performer in every sense, now adding a forthcoming Woody Allen film to his resume.
The untitled film has already added Kate Winslet and Jim Belushi, and Juno Temple has also secured a starring role. Allen is credited as writer, director and producer, with usual collaborators Letty Aronson, Erika Aronson and Edward Walson producing as well, per Variety. Allen’s love affair with New York City continues, as the film is said to be a period drama set in the city, circa the late 1950s. It will mark his 48th film.
Timberlake can be seen (or, heard, rather) in Trolls this November. His last role before that was in the critically acclaimed 2013 Coen brothers film, Inside Llewyn Davis. Temple was last seen in the recently canceled HBO series Vinyl, as well as in films including Far From The Madding Crowd, Black Mass and The Dark Knight Rises, and she has a few other projects currently in the works.
Woody Allen’s most recent film, Café Society, will hit theaters July 15, having been well-received at festivals. It is also a period piece, set in the glamorous Hollywood of the 1930s. Read our review of the film here.
