In what is almost certainly a bid for Oscar glory, Amazon Studios and Lionsgate are releasing Last Flag Flying, Richard Linklater’s drama about a veteran retrieving his son’s body because he doesn’t want him buried in Arlington National Cemetery. You can watch the trailer above, and if you saw what we saw, you might be thinking to yourself, this is going to win some awards. And you’re probably right.

The film, based on a novel by Darryl Ponicsan and co-written by the same, is currently scheduled to be released in early November. Watch the trailer above.
