Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn to Reunite for Dragged Across Concrete

Just after having teamed up for the Oscar-nominated Hacksaw Ridge, Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn are set to co-star in crime thriller Dragged Across Concrete, as first reported by THR.

The film is to be directed by Bone Tomahawk’s S. Craig Zahler. The script is centered around two cops who, after being suspended when a video of their strong-arming a suspect leaks to the media, find themselves in over their heads and embroiled in a criminal underworld. Vaughn will play the younger and more volatile member of the duo, while Gibson will portray the older and more experienced policeman.

The movie also marks a reunion between Vaughn and director Zahler, who are currently filming Brawl in Cell Block 99, which is without a release date for now. The Gibson-directed and Vaughn-co-starring Hacksaw Ridge is up for six Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director.
