William Shakespeare, has long been one of my most anticipated films of 2015. You don’t even have to be a Shakespeare nerd to agree—with Michael Fassbender starring as the star-crossed Scottish king and Marion Cotillard as his scheming wife Lady Macbeth, it seems like a can’t-miss proposition. The film debuted at Cannes to mostly positive reviews, and now we have the official teaser-trailer to really whet our appetites:
Teaser-trailers can be deceptive, but at least to me, it looks terrific. My initial excitement has not abated. Macbeth will hit UK theaters on October 2. No word yet on an official American release date.
