Danish Actor Caspar Phillipson Cast As JFK In Natalie Portman's Jackie Biopic

Relative unknown Danish actor Caspar Phillipson, who to date has starred mostly in Scandinavian films, is going to be playing one of the most iconic American presidents, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He’s been cast as JFK in the upcoming Jackie Kennedy biopic Jackie, starring Natalie Portman in the title role and directed by Chilean Pablo Narrain.

We have to wonder how much of this was based purely off of Phillipson’s physical appearance, because he looks remarkably like a Kennedy. We also happen to know that the film focuses mostly on Jackie’s life in the days immediately after her husband’s assassination, so it’s unclear how long we’ll get to revel in this perfect doppelgänger.

Jackie is being produced by Darren Aronofsky’s Protozoa Pictures in association with LD Entertainment and Bliss Media.
