New on HBO Now: All the Movies and TV Coming in May

Coming up in May, we’ve got a series of new TV shows and movies coming to HBO Now, including weekly episodes of VEEP, Silicon Valley and Game of Thrones, a new recap series called After the Thrones that will follow each episode of GoT, the Academy Award-nominated short documentary Claude Lanzmann: Spectres of the Shoah, and a film adaptation of All the Way, the play about Lyndon B. Johnson for which Bryan Cranston won a Tony Award (he reprises his role).
Out of the new theatrical premieres, the only one we’d recommend watching is Noah Baumbach’s Mistress America. “Mistress America is so far Baumbach’s most vivacious output, fiercer in its convictions and sense of self than anything to come before,” Melissa Weller wrote in our review of the film, which stars Greta Gerwig and Lola Kirke as step-sisters living in New York City. You’re sure as hell not going to want to watch Fantastic Four, which received an epic drubbing.
