Jack is Back in Exciting New Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales Trailer

Jack Sparrow has returned in the new trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, which looks like an exciting return to form for the franchise. The new trailer premiered on Ellen, and it also gives us a better look into Javier Bardem’s creepy-looking Captain Salazar. Also returning are Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa and Orlando Bloom as Will Turner.
This trailer depicts what previous teasers have only hinted at: the involvement of Jack Sparrow in Captain Salazar’s fall. “I once knew a Spaniard named something in Spanish,” Jack quips as he learns that his life in danger. The trailer is filled with some fun-looking set pieces and interesting-looking dead sharks, and it’s also got a fun moment at the end involving some scandalous ankles.
