See Sam Rockwell Steal a Skull in New Don Verdean Trailer

Sam Rockwell is off to find the holy grail of religious artifacts: The Holy Grail.

In Don Verdean, the new film from Napoleon Dynamite director Jared Hess, Rockwell stars as the titular character, an archeologist, who is hired by a church to find religious artifacts in Israel to help increase their attendance rate. What he ends up finding, of course, is himself…and possibly a dead dog in his car. No, just kidding, he actually steals a skull to pass off as Goliath’s and starts a rumor about giant Al Qaeda clones.

The film co-stars Amy Ryan, Danny McBride, Leslie Bibb, Will Forte and Jemaine Clement. Watch the trailer above and see the film Dec. 11 in limited theaters.
