Chance the Rapper Apparently Solves a Werewolf Pizza Boy Killing Spree in A24’s First Slice Trailer

Nearly two years after Chance the Rapper first teased a secret collaboration with A24, the studio has released the first official trailer for Slice. While the new trailer reveals some new details about the project, it’s still not clear what exactly we’re getting into.

In addition to the previously announced Zazie Beetz and Paul Scheer, the new trailer reveals that Chance will star alongside Hannibal Buress, Chris Parnell, Rae Gray and Stranger Things’ Joe Keery, the latter being a perfect fit for the trailer’s ‘80s-inspired score and slasher movie vibe.

Slice is the feature debut of writer-director Austin Vesely, who also directed Chance’s “Sunday Candy” and “Angels” videos.

In an earlier interview, Vesely said that the project would feature Chance as a werewolf and “ex-Chinese food delivery boy” framed for a mysterious pizza boy killing spree, and based on the new trailer, it looks like there’s also a pizza shop that doubles as a gateway to hell.

Slice will be released this fall according to the new trailer, though a release date has yet to be announced.
