Directed by Derrick Borte, the forthcoming film London Town follows a Clash-obsessed teen who happens to cross paths with Joe Strummer in 1979 London. The coming-of-age story stars Daniel Huttlestone (Into the Woods) as the teen punk, Shay, with Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Match Point, Bend It Like Beckham) as Strummer, according to Rolling Stone.
In addition to music by The Clash, London Town’s soundtrack features The Stranglers, Stiff Little Fingers, Toots and the Maytals, Willie Williams and Buzzcocks. The film opens in theaters and will be available on VOD and iTunes on Oct. 7. Watch the trailer above.
