Watch the First Trailer for Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen

Director Guy Ritchie’s latest action flick The Gentlemen has received its first trailer, and boy, does it look like a return to fast-paced form. Fresh off his latest, Aladdin, Ritchie evokes his earlier films like Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels with the Matthew McConaughey- and Charlie Hunnam-starring The Gentlemen.

The trailer itself is very cool, snazzy and—as cliche as it is—badass. Lots of guns, lots of weed and super fancy cars. What else could you want?

The Gentlemen follows American expat Mickey Pearson (McConaughey), who has built a highly profitable marijuana empire in London. When word gets out that he’s looking to cash out of the business forever, it triggers plots, schemes, bribery and blackmail in an attempt to steal his domain out from under him. The flick also stars Henry Golding, Michelle Dockery, Jeremy Strong, Eddie Marsan, Colin Farrell and Hugh Grant, and is slated for theatrical release via STXfilms on Jan. 24, 2020.
