The first look at The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 has arrived and it’s in the form of a PSA from Panem’s not-so-beloved President Snow.
Set against a perfectly white background, President Snow’s promise of peace and unity hints at a reality that will be not peaceful and not unified for those who resist. It’s unsettling.
And just as he’s warning, “If you resist the system, you starve yourself. If you fight against it, it is you who will bleed,” the camera pans to reveal Peeta beside him, hinting that his fate at the end of Catching Fire might have been worse than we thought.
Whatever Mockingjay Part 1 has in store, our curiosity is certainly piqued. The film hits theaters Nov. 21 and you can take a look at the trailer above.
