Watch Batman Assemble a Team in New TV Spot for The Lego Batman Movie
Images via Warner Bros. The Lego Batman Movie is starting to look like the best thing about 2017. In a new extended TV spot for the film, we see Batman (Will Arnett) explain to The Joker (Zach Galifianakis) that there is nothing special about their relationship.
Elsewhere in the trailer, we get a look at Batman’s lonely existence, and hear Alfred (Ralph Fiennes) explain that Batman should get his life back on track by raising the orphan he adopted (Michael Cera). From there, we see both The Joker and Batman assembling super teams to face off.
The Lego Batman Movie promises to give us a lighter take on Batman than what we’ve gotten in recent years. This jokey take on Batman was first introduced in The Lego Movie, which made fun of how broody the character has become.
The Lego Batman Movie will hit theaters on Feb. 10, 2017. Check out the extended spot above (and find previous trailers here) to see just how beautifully non-serious things have become.
