The Matrix 4 Brings Back Jada Pinkett Smith, Adds Neil Patrick Harris

Harris joins returning Matrix stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss, as well as Aquaman’s Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who is rumored to be playing a young Morpheus. Lana Wachowski will direct, and co-wrote the screenplay with Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell, while Grant Hill produces.
Jada Pinkett Smith is in negotiations to reprise her The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions role as Niobe for the forthcoming film, as Deadline first reported. Pinkett Smith’s deal has yet to close.
The three previous Matrix films, The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions, have totaled over $1.6 billion at the global box office. All three were written and directed by Lana and Lily Wachowski, and starred both Reeves and Moss.
