Claire Foy Unravels in First Trailer for Steven Soderbergh’s Unsane

Golden Globe and Emmy winner Claire Foy (The Crown) goes insane … or does she, in Steven Soderbergh’s new psychological thriller Unsane. Foy plays a young woman who is involuntarily committed to a mental hospital and faces her worst nightmare after she begins to see her stalker in the hospital. Is all of this really happening to her, or is it in her head and all one big delusion?

Soderbergh won an Academy Award for Best Director for his 2000 film Traffic. His most famous directorial credits include Sex, Lies, and Videotape, Erin Brockovich, the Ocean’s trilogy, Contagion, Magic Mike and most recently, Logan Lucky. Soderbergh’s latest project is HBO’s Mosaic, an innovative, choose-your-own-adventure-style miniseries.

Unsane also stars Joshua Leonard, Jay Pharoah, Juno Temple, Aimee Mullins and Amy Irving. Jonathan Bernstein and James Greer penned the script.

Check out the poster for Unsane below, and the trailer above. The Bleecker Street Media film arrives in theaters on March 23.
