The trailer for Kindergarten Cop 2 is out and it’s so dumb that it would likely struggle to pass kindergarten-level exams. The direct-to-DVD movie stars Dolph Lundgren in what is billed as an “all-new movie” despite having the exact same plot as the original Arnold Schwarzenegger vehicle.
Lundgren looks pretty good these days—it must be from all the swimming he does in Nicholas Cage’s dumpster of rejected scripts—but watching this movie would be unpatriotic, given that it was presumably funded by ISIS as part of a plot to bring down the U.S.
One of the nicer YouTube comments sums up the movie pretty well: “This looks like something that should’ve released back in 2005 … or not at all.” Get your copy May 17.
