The first Mad Max: Fury Road trailer made its debut at Comic-Con, and now the rest of us have a chance to take a look at the gorgeous preview. The trailer marks not only the return of Max to the screen, but also the man who helmed the original trilogy, George Miller.
The film, which has been described as “a continuous chase,” boasts some gorgeous shots of desert wastelands and plenty of vehicular mayhem. The trailer is more than two minutes long, it sets up a lot of mood and setting with pretty much no plot. Tom Hardy has taken over the role of Max and already commands attention, while Charlize Theron shows up as Furiosa.
Mad Max: Fury Road opens in theaters May 15, 2015.
