A Tribe Called Quest Hit No. 1 with Final Album

It’s official: A Tribe Called Quest’s final album We got it from Here… Thank You 4 Your service has hit number one on the Billboard charts.

Not only did the group hit number one with their final release as a group, and for the first time since Beats, Rhymes and Life in 1996, but they also exceeded projections. We got it from Here… was originally predicted to land at number one with roughly 120,000 copies sold and equivalent streams, but it actually came in at 135,000 equivalent album units, with 112,000 of those being traditional sales.
