New Zealand-based folk eccentric Aldous Harding made her U.S. late-night debut with an easy, mesmerizing performance of “The Barrel” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday night.
Accompanied by a four-piece ensemble, the musician sat at the center of the stage in a striking red Valentino gown and sang over her acoustic guitar in a dark, gentle alto.
“The Barrel” is the lead single from Harding’s third full-length Designer, released in April via 4AD. Harding will embark on an extensive tour throughout Europe and the U.S. in support of Designer in July, and you can revisit those dates here.
